9) The Baptism of Christ

Three angels stand on the rocky hillside nearby,their hands covered in a sign of adoration and reverence.The mountains lean in,bowing in dignity.At the top of the icon, a beam of light comes down bearing the medallion of a dove indicating the Holy Spirit’s descent to unite the Father and the Son.
