2) Michael The Archangel

Michael was the second icon I painted. I thought drawing an angel like Michael was a cool idea.I loved painting Michael because of the meaning in the name from old scripture, “Who is like God?”.It is really a powerful name.He is a mighty fighter who leads God’s armies against Satan’s forces.It is a drawing based on a famous 13th century Byzantine icon from Saint Catherine’s Monastery.
